Our group was formed in 2011 to allow people with limited mobility and their friends/carers to access the beautiful countryside in Skye & Lochalsh.  Our members have differing levels of mobility but all share the desire to get out in the fresh air and the countryside.

We have 4 Off-road electric mobility scooters which are housed in Broadford, we also have a trailer and ramps that members are free to use at any time.

Membership is on an annual basis  either singly or at a reduced rate for couples.  There is also an associate membership for holiday makers.

We have a programme of walks from Easter to October, some of them with the Countryside Rangers who lead walks throughout Skye & Lochalsh.  Our trips out allow for differing abilities and stamina, they always involve some fun plus some   tea/coffee & cake!

We have strong links with the Highland Council Countryside Rangers and have some interesting outings with them.

The group is actively involved in auditing the numerous tracks & paths throughout the area with the Highland Council Access Officer.  We check their suitability for mobility scooters and together we have managed to get changes to some of the gates to allow us greater access.

Members can use the scooters at any time, simply phone or book in advance.  Whether it is taking the dog for a walk or going along the marble line with friends as long as you are not alone (in case you breakdown) enjoy the freedom the scooters can give you to get out in the fresh air.
Give us a ring and find out how easy it can be to get out and about and have some fun.  Great for family outings.  We have a ramp and a trailer for a scooter if you want to go further afield than Broadford
