About Us

The National Counselling Service: Skye and
Lochalsh was set up in 2001 as a charity, to
support people in the local community.

All of our counsellors have been professionally
trained to certificate or diploma level. The
counsellors are either accredited counsellors or
working towards accreditation.

The service is discreet and totally confidential and
we work to the Code of Ethics of COSCA,
(Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland).
The Service is provided by Christian Counsellors
and is available to anyone in need regardless of
religion, faith or no faith, gender, sexual orientation
or financial circumstances

We provide counselling in Kyleakin, Portree and
some outreach locations.

Our administration centre is in Kyleakin and all
appointments are organised from there. At times
the answerphone will be in use. Please leave your
