THE 1990 GAME

EX-CELT INSPIRES SCOTLAND VICTORY.......AGAIN!

Ex-Scotland international Tommy Gemmell, came "out of retirement" again, on 10th May 1990, to help Scotland defeat England in the annual Doha International Expatriate Football Match. Gemmell, a member of the famous Celtic European Cup winning team of 1967, previously featured in the 1989 match. The England team had ex-Liecester City and England international Frank Worthington in their line-up.
