Sunday's friendly, in my eyes, was a huge success. Admittedly, it took some sorting out, due to our original friendly being called off and Wythenshawe Park being waterlogged, but all's well that ends well, and once Jojo and his family of look-alikes finally arrived, (after suffering a car breakdown) the match managed to get under way in the end. OK. It was easy to spot the footballers on the day, but our thanks have to go out, to the new faces that turned up, and made the numbers up. Paul and myself were grateful to those who did that for us! The most surprising thing to come out of the game, was the manner in which it was played, and how it was taken, as an opportunity for those of you, who haven't played a lot recently, to show what they could do over 90 minutes. Well done to those of you that put so much effort in lads! There are more free weeks in the month of January coming up, and we are certainly considering similar friendly fixtures during this period.
