They say that behind every good man, there's a bloody good woman don't they?

Well this week's appreciation, goes out to the much loved (he paid me to say that) wife of Coach - Paul Bevin.

Lena Bevin has a lot to put up with at The Sacred Heart AFC. For not only does she have the unenviable job of being chief bagwash lady at the club, but she has to actually sleep with the coach and keep that smile on his face on a Sunday morning!!!

However, when you think about it, Paul never has a smile on his face on a Sunday morning does he?

Don't know really, whether this is down to Lena's athletic bedroom abilities, or even if she allows the drunken sod into their bedroom on Saturday nights, but rumour is, that Paul only drinks because of his love for that 'hungover' look on a Sunday morning.

We all know his Sunday morning look don't we?  The one that says .... HELLLLLP!!!! (Costs him a fortune to get that look on his face you know!)

Anyway, as Paul roots through the first aid bag on Sunday mornings for Paracetamols and a rehydration pack, spare a thought for our Lena, who is  busily purchasing butty stuff from Tesco's in Baguley.

You've guessed it, the poor wife also doubles as the lady in charge of buying all those after match delights that get served up, for all us footballing fanatics. 

Lena's also the poor buggar responsible for preparing the damned stuff before we all get to the clubhouse!

I ask you? - What did this woman do in her former life, to deserve marrying such a demanding man?

Truth is, we just don't know.  But it must have been pretty bad mustn't it?

Now then, lets be honest, everybody at the club absolutely loves Lena.  Let's face it...... If Paul's that scared of her, then who are we to argue with her?  

Yep! Lovely butties Lena!

You do a soddin' great job washing the kit too babes!

Now, if you could just do something about that husband of yours???????
