Saturday 6th June

Good Morning

Now the weather has reverted to normal, lockdown seem much harder.

The hardy will continue to meet in gardens, but most of us may again feel cut off.

Sharing the service on Sundays helps us not only feel close to God

but also to one another so here is the link for tomorrow

Our service will stream on YouTube from 11:00 via this link

https://youtu.be/vtCTk9sySkY

the order of service is also attached.

Thank you for supporting each other during  this crisis.

And thank you for your personal encouragement.

Keep safe,

Keep praying,

Every blessing

The Church and the Saints

Welcome

Invitation and Response

Jesus says “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples;
and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

John 8:32

God of heaven and earth, we long to be truly free.

As we worship, set us free by the truth that comes,

from seeing you more clearly,

from loving you more dearly,
and from following you more nearly.

Teach us your truth, help us believe day by day,

give us the strength and courage

to be your people in this time, in this place. Amen.

Praise 510 Jesus calls us here to meet him

Prayer

Affirmation of faith

I believe in God, the Father almighty,

creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died, and was buried;

he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again;

he ascended into heaven,

he is seated at the right hand of the Father,

and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting.  Amen.

Prayer for others

Lord’s prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name,

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and

Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

For Thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory for ever. Amen

Praise 740 For all the saints

Benediction

The peace of the Lord be with you and also with you
