news just in... 02 June 2012 Well, we're not getting the updates through as we've asked for. However, after a few phone calls, we've found out that the roof (guttering) will get its' much needed attention in October/November, and then on a rolling programme of maintenance (early Spring and late Autumn). Not quite what was agreed at the AGM, where parts of the guttering are dripping and causing damp patches, were going to get immediate attention to dry out over summer months. The communal door latches are to be 'looked at' in the near future, with a view to being replaced with non-tamper latches for added security. Again, we would prefer a more satisfactory time scale for this work as the security aspect cannot be underestimated.
Small steps! We would however appreciate a more cohesive communication between owners/residents and the Board...Rome wasn't built in a day; rather than the 'them and us' approach we seem to have currently :) | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
