John Fairgrieve
John writes: "From fishing the Border burns as a boy, my passion for fishing developed into the artform of preserving an angler`s catch without having to kill a beautiful fish.
"The only indignity it suffers is having its vital statistics and a photo taken before it is returned from whence it came. This, coupled with my love of watercolour painting, led me to making some replicas for friends and family. I now send them worldwide - from six inch trout to six foot shark - in fact what ever species is commissoned leads to new, exciting problems to solve."
