Interclub Matches 2010

Sunday 10th October saw PGC play their last interclub match at Creif GC and come away with a draw  3-3.

On Sunday September 5th  PGC  played Carnoustie Mercantile G C  in the return match at Pitlochry, trying to regain the trophy that Carnoustie won in May, Unfortunately for Carnoustie,PGC proved too strong on this occasion running out winners  3 1/2  to 21/2.

15th  August - Finally summer arrived, on one of the warmest days of the year, PGC carried on their dismal away form losing, 4 -2 to Craigie Hill GC.

29th July - Dunkeld & Burnam made the short trip to Pitlochry and again PGC were the winners by 51/2 - 1/2.

25th July - Scotscraig GC made the trip upto Pitlochry. PGC ran out winners 4 - 1.

15th July - PGC got back to winning ways with a 4 - 2 home win against Blairgowrie GC.

1st July - PGC travelled the short distance to Strathtay GC. with Strathtay winning 4 - 1.

June 25th - PGC team then travelled the short distance down the coast to Golspie Golf Club, and whether it was a combination of the travelling and the late night!!, Golspie ran out winners 3 1/2 - 2 1/2.

June 24th saw the return match at Brora Golf Club, as the team captain of Brora said the result was immaterial - PGC  secured a win!  3 1/2 - 2 1/2

June 17th - PGC lost their 100 per cent home record losing to Blair Atholl GC  4 - 2.

June 4th saw PGC run out 3 - 1 winners against Pitlochry Ladies GC .

June 3rd  PGC  played Taymouth Castle away,again going down to a 4-2 loss.

Sunday  16th May saw PGC travel to Baberton GC and losing  4 1/2  to 1 1/2.

 Friday May 14th  saw the inaugural match between PGC and Brora  Golf Club at Pitlochry with PGC winning  2 1/2   to  1 1/2. The Pitlochry team are looking forward to travelling up to Brora for the return match in June.

On Sunday May 2nd  PGC travelled to play Carnoustie Mercantile G C on the Championship Course, trying to retain the trophy until both teams meet in September. Unfortunately Carnoustie proved too strong on this occasion running out winners  4 1/2  to 1 1/2.

On Sunday April 18th PGC started the season with a fine 4-2 win at Alyth.
