Junior Section

 Pitlochry has a proud history of producing some great golfers at International, National and County level. Our aspiration is to share the great game of golf and  its values and discplines of fair play with local children.

We have over 60 members in a  vibrant Junior section with players of all abilities from the age of 5 to 18.  Coaching is available for all players. We have a three tier approah meaning beginners, intermediates and category 1 players all receive the benefit of relevantly trained coaches.

The main competition night is Monday .18 hole and 9 hole competitions take place at the club, and beginner sessions take place at the Atholl Palace course ever second week.

 Coaching for level (beginners) takes place in two 1 hour slots on Tuesdays between 6 pm and 8 pm.

Coaching for intermediates takes place on Wednesday evenings at 6.00 pm

Advanced coaching with video analysis has been arranged at Noah's Ark on Tues evenings.

 Notable recent news

Jamie Burrows represented Pitlochry at both the Scottish Boys Championship at West Kilbride and in the County Boys Matchplay at Crieff. Jamie has also been selected to play for Perth and Kinross in a junior match versus East Lothian.

 Our juniors played the first leg of round 1 of the Bell Trophy away to Crieff and won 3/2, the second leg will be played at home against Crieff on Sunday 23^rd.
