Held in the Stromness Legion 23 pairs attended the League Mixed Doubles title and it ended up with two new names on the trophy that compete for the Noust, Orphir so well done to them.

  Orphir nearly claimed another title one week later in the Parish Cup final which was also held in the Stromness Legion. Stromness Burgh 1 won the Parish Cup final for the 1st time since 2006, beating Orphir in the final. Dennis Watt & Keith Chlamers got Stromness off to a good start in the doubles winning 2 - 0 with a 94 average. After that there were some close games, but Stromness had the edge throughout and ran out 11 -1 winners in the end. There was 180 from Dennis Watt and checkouts of 116 from Jim McDill and 100 from Erland Ritch.
