Over 1300 men entered the Scottish Open World Rankng event singles on Saturday 17th Feb with the Men's Pairs on the following day.

 Sean Chalmers & Dennis Watt of the Stromness Legion made it through to the Last 64 of the Scottish Open Mens Pairs on the Sunday in Glasgow. In the previous round Sean & Dennis beat Craig Robertson & Mike Murray of Grampian 3 - 2, hitting 1 x 180, 6 x 140s and a 145 which was just missing the Bull for a 170 outshot.

  Just 4 months previous Craig Robertson who is BDO World Ranked 218 emulated the darting greats by throwing a nine-dart leg in the Grampian Super League, the 1st 9 darter in Grampian history.

 Regular visitor to Orkney, darts pro Gary Robson won the Scottish Open Men's Pairs with partner James Wilson beating Martin Adams & Ross Montgomery among others on the way.
