22 ladies competed in the League singles in The Smithfield with a good standard of play.

The eventual finalists were Anne Sinclair of the Stromness Golf Club and Anita Park of the Stromness Legion. Thay didn't have an easy path to the final and it was Anita who stepped up her game in the final came out the winner 3 - 0 against Anne. Dorothy Wood had the Highest checkout with 136 and Lorna Munson 114.
