The dates for the 2010-11 Parish Cup Semi Finals have been confirmed. Reigning champions Sandwick continue their defence with a home tie in the Smithfield Hotel against Shapinsay this Sunday, 13th February, with a 3pm start. Shapinsay, after beating Firth 10-8 in the last round, are playing in their first semi final and will be up against it when they take on Sandwick who are many people's favourites to retain the cup. Sandwick will be without their skipper Ian Linklater but will otherwise be at full strength and Shapinsay are travelling with a full strength squad and are also hoping to have a few supporters making the trip too. It certainly promises to be a good afternoon in the Smithfield!

In the other semi final Holm, last years losing finalists, take on St.Andrews in what promises to be a very close match. St.Andrews, who have done just enough to get through their previous two rounds, will be the underdogs in this all East Mainland clash and will be determined to give their merry band of faithful supporters something to cheer about. This match will take place on Saturday 26th February in the Commodore with a 2pm start.
