Despite playing their home fixture in The Pomona, their opponents home venue, Shapinsay still managed to win their first ever match in the ODA Parish Cup to secure their place in the semi final draw.

Trailing to Firth 6-3 at half time, Shapinsay stormed through the second half to win, just, by a very close 10-8 scoreline.

The semi final draw will be made after the remaining quarter finals have been played. They are; Burray v Holm, Orphir v St.Andrews and St.Ola v Sandwick.
