This Sunday, 28th March, sees the final of the Parish Cup in the Commodore, Holm.

Holm and Sandwick will contest the final which promises to be close affair with both teams stacked with League players from the Kirkwall and West Leagues.

Holm have Bruce Moar, Colin Ross, Leigh Shearer, Ray Shearer, Robbie Stanger, Sean Stanger, Alan Stevenson, Darren Tait and Billy Ward at their disposal and Sandwick have Robbie Brass, Paul Foubister, Martin Johnston, Jim Kirkness, Ian Linklater, Stevie Linklater, Derry Sinclair, Alex Stanger and Marcus Wood to pick from.

To get to the final Holm have eliminated Westray 14-4, Stenness 12-6 and Sanday 12-6 in the semi-final although the tie was much closer than the scoreline suggests. Sandwick had a tough first round match against St.Ola, only just beating them 10-9 after the play-off leg. They then comfortably beat Eday 15-3 before taking out their old rivals Birsay 10-8 in the semi-final.

The Final is due to start at 2pm.
