Holm complete the Parish Cup semi-final line up after a 12-6 victory over Stenness in the Commodore.

Holm got off to a flying start winning all three of their doubles and their first two singles to take a 5-0 lead. Paul Irvine, best player on the day for Stenness, stopped the rot before Stenness finished the half strongly to trail 6-3 at half-time.

Both captains shuffled their teams around at half-time and after the first four games of the second half the score stood at 8-5 to Holm. The next two games were crucial to Stenness if they were to stage a comeback, but alas it was Holm that would prevail with Billy Ward holding off a determined challenge from Lenny Clouston to win 2-1 and Bruce Moar securing the match for Holm with an equally close 2-1 win over Davy Cooper. Some very close games followed this with the final score ending 12-6 to Holm.

Paul Irvine from Stenness and Robbie Stanger from Holm both had a 180 each and Holm's Billy Ward had a 101 checkout.

Holm now join Birsay, Sanday and Sandwick in the draw for the semi-finals which will hopefully take place on Wednesday with a representative from each parish present.
