Our two 'Red Devil' apple trees are fruiting abundantly this year, in contrast to the last few years which have produced few of this particular variety. Sadly, there is not a 'Katy' in sight (our most prolific apple for many years) and few 'Grenadiers'. Strangely, these varieties are neighbours, planted in the same area of the orchard.
