Ken received two Honeycrisp apples as a Christmas present. This highly-prized variety was developed at the University of Minnesota in the 1990s and is known as a sweet, juicy and crunchy dessert apple. In this photo, it has been planted next to a Cox's Orange Pippin (on right).
