We were puzzled when no birds came to the feeders on Saturday. We started to get worried on Sunday. Then, Ken looked up from the kitchen table and saw this sparrowhawk perched on a branch, motionless, behind the feeders. It was no surprise the little birds (including our favourite goldfinches) were giving our feeding station a miss!
