Spring has burst into blossom this past week — just in time for Easter. These crocuses and anenome blanda have been joined by early daffodils and rhododendrons, pulmonia and iris reticulata. A few bees are buzzing, and there is a small clump of frog spawn in the upper pond.

Mackie has cleaned the greenhouse ready for plug plants arriving next week.
