After three attempts (original + two re-seedings), we have a fully-germinated mini wild meadow. The wildflowers are just beginning to come into bloom, so we are looking forward to seeing what unfolds. One difficulty is distinguishing the seeded wildflowers from the campion, cowslip, cranesbill and other 'wildflowers' that have escaped from the original wild garden and the unkempt area beneath the old willow tree by the back door.
