Yesterday was Moray Firth Flotilla day with the arrival of some 30 traditional-style boats in Cromarty and Invergordon (en route from Wick to Portsoy). We both took a break from gardening to join the Cromarty and Resolis Lifeboat Guild ladies (and husbands persuaded to help) at the harbour. After six hours of standing and grilling burgers and hotdogs, we weren't fit for doing anything, let alone gardening! We did raise more than £1000 for the lifeboats, though.
