Despite the chilly, blustery weather, the garden continues to blossom into summer. The early-season roses are giving way to these 'Nevada' bushes and the bank of 'Ballerina' and 'Marjory Fair' above the patio. As usual, we're trying to keep the greenfly, blackspot and mildew at bay. We surprised one, lone ladybird on a fern last week, but we could use an entire army of them!
