I missed 24-hours of non-stop rain when I was 'down south' over a long weekend. When I returned, almost all of the rhododendrons still in blossom were a sorry sight. All except this one, the last to flower with huge, waxy, salmon-coloured blossoms. The rain fairly greened-up the rest of the garden, though. If you ignore the growing weeds, the garden looks lush and verdant.
