Guest Speaker : Derek Alexander National Trust for Scotland Archaeologist
"The Archaeological Work in the National Trust for Scotland" Derek gave a fantastic and humerous talk on the National Trust for Scotland. He explained how the team of three archaeologists deploy and the areas they cover and the wide array of work they are involved in. He also described the vast array of properties castles, houses and smaller properties, islands, landscapes and monroes. This array was amazing. Derek also gave a description of St Kilda, the battlefields of Culloden and Bannockburn and how they try to engage the public especially children in their activities.. Fantastic.
