Portkil Cave Open Day
NCAS invited the public for one day visit to their excavation at Portkil Cave on Sunday 16th November 2014, 10.00am – 3.00pm.
The archaeologists were on site to explain to visitors what the excavation is all about and answer any questions.
This was a one off opportunity for local people to learn about cave archaeology and geology along the north Clyde coastline and in Portkil Caves in particular.
