Kilmartin Glen Excursion
This was the first NCAS group excursion. Destination Kilmartin Glen. The group started at the Kilmartin Museum and church with its fascinating grave slabs and crosses. This was then followed by a series of three walks. Each walk taking in different aspects of the area from cairns and cists, to standing stones and eventually some magnificent rock art. A full day excursion great weather, fresh air, exercise and education all which brought colour to the cheeks and developed a great appetite for further exploration.
