The 1^st Leg of the 2^nd Round of the Challenge Cup produced a surprise result, as the Grey Horse currently lying joint 2^nd in Division A hammered the team immediately below them in the table, the Blue Bell A 8-1. Current Division C leaders the Otterington Shorthorn, comfortably beat fellow Division C team the Queen Catherine 7-2 and both of the above teams will fancy their chances of progressing to the Quarter Finals. The Old Royal George A from Division A hold a healthy 6-3 lead over the Arden Arms from Division B. Elsewhere, all other games finished 5-4. Division A leaders the Blue Bell B, hold a slender 5-4 lead over the Oddfellows Arms currently 2^nd in Division B. The Kings Head currently lying joint 4th^th in Division A edged past Division B leaders the Crown A 5-4 & the Beeswing from Division B also won 5-4 against fellow Division B team the Buck Inn, Maunby.
