As a result of the C.W.James Cup (Pairs) Competition receiving 41 entries, 23 pairs have a Bye through to the Second Round. The First Round draw contains 18 pairs, which will reduce the field by 9 pairs, who will join the pairs that received a Bye in the Second Round. 

The 1st Round of the C.W.James Cup (Pairs) Competition is to be played at the following venues, on Monday 24th November 2025 commencing at 8.30pm prompt. 

The player marked with a red asterisk * is deemed to be the 'Venue Referee', who is asked to do a ‘Roll Call’ at 8.30pm.  

Each match shall be best of three legs, 701 straight off and finish on a double. The players due to play in the last match, shall mark and call the first match, after which the players that play in the first match shall mark and call the second match and so on until all matches are complete.  

PLEASE NOTE: The result of the winners of each pairs match are to be recorded and given to the competition secretary Paul Newton.
