HERITAGE

The Neath Valley Metro Line could indeed be called the NEATH HERITAGE LINE because it can provide tourists to several sites linked with the rich history of NEATH, including the Cefn Coed Colliery Museum and Neath Abbey.


 

A look back at the past in order to improve our future

The Victorians had the right idea.   Buses met trains at the station which had a parcel office service where you could send a parcel to another station the same day.   The Post Office under the banner of the Royal Mail had a night train sorting coach, thus keeping traffic off the road,
