MA Work in Progress

This project is for educators who:

 

  1. Are willing to ‘do CPD differently’ by experimenting with, and challenging, their own learning to improve the educational opportunities for their students;
  2. Want access to the most current thinking and practice and to master new skills;
  3. Want to learn with other people who have a passion for education and want to make a difference that really matters to them;
  4. Are prepared to ‘walk their own talk’ and experience the tensions, frustrations and pleasures of profound learning;
  5. Are generous enough to share their learning through creating validated multimedia accounts, which communicates what matters.

 

Project objectives:

 

  1. To create a research community, which models the collaboration and co-operation desirable in all educational learning communities.  
  2. To enhance the personalised learning of individuals through each person creating and implementing individualised action research plans for improving their values-based practice.
  3. To support participants in presenting an evidenced account of their educational influence on improving the life-chances and well-being of children and young people.
  4. To enable participants to enhance their effectiveness by creating a learning story, which offers the knowledge they create as educational gifts to themselves and others.
  5. To influence policy-making at local and national levels as a result of the outcomes of the values-based educational research
