Polly and Duncan MacInnes
have lived on the Isle of Skye since 1975. Duncan has longer connections from his childhood and father's family.

MacInnes and Co
is the title we trade under for our various projects.

Duncan MacInnes
Once upon a time I was a Civil Engineering and Geography graduate, but life has moved on. I worked at the Clan Donald Visitor Centre for 16 years in various roles and am proud to have been the first Countryside Ranger in the Hebrides. I managed the Visitor Centre and in 1991 left to be self-employed. After various projects in countryside interpretation and guiding I moved into arts events promotion and was the Administrator for PAN - the Promoters Arts Network in the Highlands and Islands for ten years until late 2008.

I am a Director of SEALL arts on Skye; Fèis an Eilein / the Skye Festival; Sleat Community Trust and Sleat Community Trading Ltd.

I am delighted to have been asked to join the Board of Mull Theatre.

Polly MacInnes
I graduated in Geography (yes, that is how we met). After a go at being a high-altitude ecologist and training as a Secondary Teacher I settled on Skye to become a parent, crofter, housebuilder and gardener. I became fluent in Gaelic and re-trained as a Primary Teacher, to  teach in various Gaelic Medium Schools in Skye and Lochalsh. I now teach part-time and provide administrative and accounting support for MacInnes and Co projects.

Also whosoever
we employ, or work with, on various projects.
