COMMUNITY COUNCIL is a link between the people and the Highland Council. It consists of elected volunteers who meet monthly, usually on the third Tuesday of each month (except in the summer holidays) at 7.30 p.m. in the main hall at Auchtertyre Community Learning and Development Centre.
EVERYBODY who lives in Auchtertyre, Avernish, Balmacara, Kirkton, Glaik and Reraig is entitled and warmly encouraged to attend these meetings. It’s the best way to know what is going on and to have your say about how the area is run. You can tell the people who represent you on Community Council what you want to happen around here. More often than not, one of our four Highland Councillors will also be in attendance so your concerns can be addressed directly to them.
