Eastwood Expo and Booktown Bonanza Event

Owing to no suitable venue being available in Eastwood town itself, with sufficient parking, indoor and outdoor facilities, for a large public gathering, Eastwood Neighbourhood Watch, Age Concern Eastwood, Eastwood South Community Funding Panel and Eastwood Booktown Development Group will host The 2013 Eastwood Expo and Booktown Bonanza (one day event) at Beauvale Priory on Saturday Sept. 21st 2013 This will be a fun-day for all the family. Opening/closing time: tbc.

The main event will take place under cover in the Barn, which is expected to hold up to 30 craft tables. Local authors, poets and artists will display/sell and sign their books and paintings. Some stalls may be under cover outside, depending on the weather.

During the day there will be book readings and talks (meet the author) held in a separate room. Children’s entertainment will be provided.

Hawkeye Falconry Display is already booked.

Visitors will be able to purchase food and drinks in the Priory Gatehouse Tea Room from 10am. A licensed bar will be available, featuring local ales.

Crafts people, artists, writers, stall-holders and local groups and societies are asked to contact the organisers by email as soon as possible for more information and in order to secure a place.
