Today I went to the Big Brother Auditions with a friend at the SECC, Glasgow. We actually planned to audition together, but they wouldn't allow us to because you have to audition solo. Each round was more or less the same as the last. 10 people in the group and in turn each person would say something about themselves, an interesting fact. There were some interesting people there, most though said the same kind of thing... I love to get drunk or I'll have sex in the house etc etc. Basically telling the producers that they can ply them with booze and they will get ratings by showing off their bodies and having sex. Wether they would actually do that or not is another question. It worked though, in the final round I was in only one girl got through and she was the one with the tan, fake hair, over the top make up, short dress and high heels. Asked wether she had just came from a night out, her reply was, 'no, this is the way I always dress and I love it when people stare at me'. Her interesting facts about herself included, 'I 'm spoiled, I get what I want when I want it and I don't care who I have to step on.' 'I wanna be famous.' 'I'm seeing a few guys at the moment, I would definetly have sex in the house.' She was really vain and said girls always growl at her because they are so jealous of her. Wow. Didn't she know exactly what to say to get through to the next round! Personally I would rather have my personality and not get through than to be a vain bitch who gets through. I had a good day though, there was some debates and interesting stories throughout the day. Also, they lined our group up and asked one girl to put us in order of who was the most interesting. She put me at the very top, I was the most interesting out of the group. The Big Brother people then asked if anyone disagreed with the line up and ofcorse people did. Hello you need to stand out to get through. The next girl moved people about the line, but not me, I kept my position as most interesting from the group. I was all chuffed with myself. Too bad they weren't the ones deciding who gets to be in the house.
