The old rose beds in front of Balmakeith Industrial Estate were sponsored by Sainsbury's last year & the staff kept them weed free.

This spring working with KNC, Sainsbury's held a bag packing weekend to raise funds for new plants for the beds. George Kitson handed over a cheque to Annie Stewart, Chair of KNC.

The staff removed the old roses & KNC members & volunteers have planted them up with a mix of conifers, shrubs, perennials & bedding, all supplied by Donald Green of Greens Nurseries.

Sainsbury's will continue to look after the beds.
