KNC took part in the first Harvest Festival Event in Nairn organised by GreenHive and Nairn Rotary Club last Saturday. 

Sadly all the outside events had to be cancelled due to the aftermath of Storm Amy, but all the indoor activities went ahead. 

KNC's stand displayed the work of all our volunteers and the support given to us by our sponsors. We ran a competition for the children to identify edible plants and match them up with the part of the plant that is eaten, and the winning child, Ruby, was delighted with her prize from Greens Nursery of daffodil bulbs, sunflower seeds and a small bag of compost
