KNC members were out splitting the large clumps of snowdrops along the riverside & bagging them up for volunteers to plant on Saturday afternoon.

Wearing gloves & working at a safe distance from each other, a small band of volunteers helped plant them. One group added snowdrops along the paths through the Cemetery Field.

Another group planted them on the town side of the river downstream from the Jubilee Bridge

and a third group did the same on the other side.

Annie Stewart, KNC Chair, said "I would like to extend a big thank you to those who came to help us. They each went home with a small clump of snowdrops to plant in their own gardens. Let's hope that by next spring this crisis will be well and truly over, and everyone can get out and enjoy the show these lovely plants put on."
