Silhouette Sketchbooks

Here is some of my sketcbook work. 

I find sketchbooks really useful in organising my ideas especially for wire and sheet pieces as a line drawing dose not always convey the same profile once cut or formed.

sketchbook cover this is my texture sketchbook, which is kind of misleading as it is all flat paper cutouts of forms and patterns that I wanted to explore further. Have a look and let me know what you think.	Cut out pepper Cut out dried pepper relief drawing
Cut out pepper 2 This is a mirror image of the page before but mirrored onto itself.	Cut out pepper big Same as before only bigger
Cut out peppers I used the same image as "cut out pepper 2" but was more selective about the areas I was removing, Actually thinking about going back to explore this further as there are some awesome ideas in there.	Repettition This single form was taken from an area within the pepper from before, exploring repetition and possible pattern.
Repetition 2 Exploring repetition and possible pattern as before but looking more appropriate to textiles no?	Repettition 2 Getting more defined in this mission.
Thin lines Very exclusive, very delicate.	Repeat selection This is the same pattern as before but I've been more selective in the sections I remove, again I think I may return to this method of working to renew my inspiration.
