Belated Happy New Year to everyone.
Love long winter evenings by the fire playing games with the children (or once they are inbed) and crafting. (Having the sheep in the barn at night makes early morning and late afternoon a muddy game of draughts as I move the different groups in and aroudn eachother but keep them seperate).
I haven't managed any spinning this winter yet (but have big plans to). Excited to hear that I don't have to wait log now before the latest batch of ou...r fleece comes back from Griffiths Mill, Sudbury as yarn ...ooh.
Until then all I can share is the fact that I am starting knitting my first ever Fairisle Keps (fishermans knitted hat). I bought the pattern from the Fairisle museum (Fairsle) but post and have joined their FaceBook group.. and it was one of my 3 New Years resolutions. Progress is slow, but I hope to use only my own yarn...
blessings to you all
