I had hoped to have a paypal linked shop up and running from this website.. but I am still awaiting the arrival of the new batch of yarn.
In the mean time I continue to have small requests that I enjoy turning my creative mind to. This Advent wreath for a family is ready to post.. (and I found a shallow basket that it fits into and made the gingham bag to finish off the gift. The 24 pegs of this indoor Advent wreath all hold a round green-edged card disc with the date on in black and gold.. these can be linked to a list of 'acts of random kindness', Bible verses, or crafty things to do as a family in preparation for Christmas
Small shell heart decorations continue to be popular.. each one is unique, take about an hour to create and are made from shells I beach comb on Shapinsay, and all feature a groatie buckie.. local tradition holds that groatie buckies bring wealth and well being.
