Bororays#Wool Week #date with hubbie
Lovely day in Orkney
It is not often that my husband and I get a day off island with not much on our 'to do' list.. and there are not many girls whose hubbies would agree to visit a rare breed flock of sheep on their date day.. and he was totally unprepared to be intrigued and 'fall for' (?) the lovely flock of Bororays a friend has been building up.
Not many folks are as passionate about a breeds survival as this lady is.. and it was a real treat to enjoy her Orcadian view, meet her special flock and come away buzzing with ideas and possibilities. Some descendants of St Kilda's legendary sheep are certainly making their mark in Orkney.
