The best bit today was the trowelling. You have to scrape away at the dirt until you find the next layer and be careful not to gouge out the stones. I then took a picture of the layer that we uncovered. It was harder than I thought because I had to get the whole trench area but not any jackets or trowels. We also recorded what the pictures were.
