First we started to clear all of it out. Then, we were looking at how the colours in the earth changed. We drew a picture from above, placing a grid of squares over the trench, and we drew pictures to show where the rocks and slopes were. We started to take pictures from different angles, and then we used the photo pole to get some from a big height. Then, we started taking samples of the dirt, and put them in plastic bags.
