New Arrangements (September 2013)
To be fair to the existing tenants on the site, the Management Committee would like to offer tenants the opportunity to exchange plots, when gardens become vacant, before these are given to the first on the waiting list.
When a plot becomes available this will be advertised by email and on the notice board.
If a current tenant would like to exchange their plot for the vacant one, matching size for size, and ensuring that the plot that is being left, is in a better condition than the one that is being taken over, they can apply for a change.
This needs to be put in writing to the secretary within 14 days of the plot being advertised.
Should more than one tenant be interested in the same plot, and the above conditions being equal, the names will be pulled out of a hat.
This process will continue until all exchanges are arranged and the final vacant plot will be offered to the person who is top of the waiting list.
