This M46 Fire Helmet is a fairly rare helmet, most fire fighters were issued the heavier steel M43. The badge bears the Coat-of-Arms of the City of Geneve. The Canton of Geneve has the same Arms but with a sun above it, this was introduced in 1550 (ish) to distinguish the two.
