Membership

 Membership at the present time for joining the Club, has been kept to a minimum,this enables members to be interested enough to stay as a formed club and enough callateral to cover admisisterative costs, insurance, courses, trophies, and any other varied items that may crop up.

We are not a large club, and at the present keeping club members to a maximum, this is so as to not create a huge population of fisherman at a venue at any one time.

If any person is interested in having a go at fishing and/or joining the club , they are most welcome.
It is hoped to encourage more people to go fishing, especially the younger generation.  Our club has trained fishing tutors, and also fishing tackle that can be borrowed.

Rules

We do not have any laid down strict rules, fishing is meant to be fun and so it is mostly common sense.
There are laid out rules  in the constitution of the club.
The best thing is advice, and below are some quotes which would be nice for the Club and any individual person.

  * When fishing in our lovely countryside, lookafter it, do not vandalise it, or leave any litter lying, please take it home with you and dispose in the correct manner.
Not only does this look after the enviroment, but shows any land owner that you are caring for nature. It also helps the Club keep a good name.

    *  Take care when fishing, do not fish close to powerlines, watch when you cast that no other public are in the way. Do not go into to water unnecessary. Watch for other dangers, and help fellow anglers.

   *  Enjoy fishing , and if you catch any, take care of the fish and return them safely with out too much distress, that is after the weigh in and photos.
