The Woodland Garden at Heronfield The large hillside garden, particularly beautiful in early summer when the wild anemones, primroses, garlic and bluebells are in flower - all sheltered by many mature hazel, rowan, birch, beech and ash trees allow open access upwards to the forestry plantations, ridges and hills behind Heronfield. |

Classic Cars and their owners always welcome For as long as he can remember, Tim has enjoyed, passionately, classic cars. So Christine inevitably had to involve herself in his hobby too! Thus - Classic vehicle, car and motorcyle enthusiasts visiting Skye are (especially!) welcome at Heronfield.
Don't worry though, if old vintage vehicle matters are not 'your thing', your ears will NOT be bent listening to intricate minutiae about all things mechanical; Skye's scenery and outdoor activities are the main reasons we live here as well! |
