ABOUT US -- and the websites we contruct

We are a not for profit team providing a service to the community.

We have been involved in making community websites since the year 2000 when our chief designer won the 'Golden Web Award' for 2000-2001 by the International Association of Web Masters and Designers for excellance achieved in Web Design, Content and Creativity.

Since then over fifty websites have been produced, mainly for community based interests.

Up to 2013 all the websites have been produced by recommendation, but now under the new banner of GWR we are making ourselves known.   Having said this, apart from this website there will be no advertising, because with our record there is no need to.

All our work is done via the Internet without the need of offices.  Mostly websites are constructed for the user to take over and maintain.   In other cases they are presented in a way that need no attention - rather like a Yellow Page advert.

In fact our websites can be more effective than a Yellow Page advert because they are interactive with email facilitities.

Having a website is more than a matter of prestige, it is making yourself known to the world around you - and that is exactly the aim of this website.

To sum up, a website can be simply a prestige presence on the Internet or an interactive site that can be a money spinner.   It can be made so that no maintainance is required whatsoever or one that has to be monitored because of feedback.  In other words a website can be made for the purpose for which it is intended - made for you to takeover - or for us to look after - or a combination of the two.
